in 2000 because she felt that was the best way to offer a personal, friendly service to small businesses who can
find that larger firms are expensive and not best placed to help them.

Lisa has been running Liric since April 2000 and is the managing director and customer manager. Having started Liric from scratch, Lisa genuinely knows what it is like to be responsible for your own business. So, as well as providing technical expertise, she can use her own practical experience and breadth of knowledge to help you develop your business. Lisa has been instrumental in embracing the latest Cloud technology for both Liric and our clients, to make driving your business forward easier.

Lisa’s main hobby is running with her two very energetic dogs, Harvey and Timba ( who are occasionally visitors to the office)


Annette Gear - Certified Accountant

Practice Manager

Annette has been part of the Liric team since 2015 and is a qualified Certified Accountant with a breadth of experience in all aspects of accounts, VAT, personal and corporate tax. Annette manages the Liric team and oversees the workflow to ensure the timely completion of our clients’ work. She works alongside Lisa, ensuring we provide a quality service.

As for spare time – with two young children there is not much, but enjoys walking and visiting country parks with the family.


Amber Halliwell

Amber joined the Liric team in July 2019 having started a career in Accountancy back in 2016. Amber is currently studying towards her final AAT exams and hopes to progress onto chartered ACA exams.

Amber oversees the payroll function at Liric as well as assisting clients with their Xero queries and preparing the routine VAT, management and year end accounts. An all rounder.

In her spare time Amber enjoys going to boxing classes and going out with friends and family.

Charlie recently joined the company as an intern following his graduation with a 1st class honours in Marketing at The University of Liverpool.

Charlie’s is learning how to do bookkeeping, VAT returns and prepare year end accounts as well as lots of other day to day tasks, gaining invaluable experience in accountancy.

In his spare time, he is a rabid gym goer, a social butterfly, and partial to the odd beer.

Jill joined the company recently having a history of 25 years’ experience in financial services including working as a local commercial bank manager.

Jill is Lisa’s PA as well as dealing with the busy reception and all aspects of Liric’s administration.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and horse riding.


Angelika Cyrulinska

Angelika has recently joined the Liric team after working in audit for the first 2 years of her career in accountancy. After starting her AAT qualification in 2018 and completing this at the beginning of 2021, Angelika will be moving towards completing her ACCA qualification.

Angelika assists in completing the monthly payroll, quarterly VAT returns, management accounts and year end financial statements.

In her spare time Angelika enjoys training and walking her dog and socialising with friends and family.

Eva joined the Liric team recently after finishing her ACA qualification. Eva has five years of experience working in practice and advising clients on all aspects of accounts, VAT, personal and corporate tax.

In her spare time, Eva enjoys travelling, photography and playing or watching tennis.

Harvey James Heal

Office Dog

I have 11 months‘ experience of an office workplace and am very skilful at providing a supportive and protective environment. My specialism is employee engagement, staff morale and well-being. I’m very popular with all colleagues and am central to team building.

I’ve been practising my keyboard skills and can now type many things on the screen which has my nose marks on it. Joining in conversations in the office is something I particularly enjoy, especially when colleagues are on the phone.

When I‘m older I’d like to help make lunches for people and to start a staff workout class at breakfast, lunchtime and afternoon tea time.
